Tips and Tricks
This chili recipe is not only quick but contains five super healthy ingredients that will boost your immune system this winter. You can find them in any supermarket if you don’t have them in your pantry already.
Gather everything needed, and let’s start cooking! Because the serving size is so large, this chili is great for meal prepping. You’ll have tons of leftovers.
How to Make It
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (1.25-ounce) envelope of white chicken chili seasoning mix
- 5 (15-ounce) cans of Great Northern beans, undrained
Directions:
- The first thing you need to do is let the chicken broth boil in a large pot.
- Then, add the chicken breast and cover. Lower the heat and let simmer until the chicken is properly cooked and isn’t pink in the center. It should take about 8-12 minutes, but you can also use an instant-read thermometer. If you insert it into the center and it shows at least 165F, the chicken is ready.
- Transfer it to a plate and shred or cut into small pieces.
- Now, it’s time to return the shredded chicken to the pot. Add the onion and seasoning mix and stir well.
- Then, add the beans and cook for about 15 minutes. You can also season with some salt and other seasonings you like.
- Let it cool for a few minutes and serve!
