Parents on TikTok

If you think about it, the park is not the best place for moms to vent their frustrations, discover their people, and be themselves. It’s not even your neighborhood’s Mommy & Me group. TikTok is where you should be if you want to discover new people, #MomTok, to be more specific. Here are some of the TikTok moms you should follow. They will make you feel seen and make you laugh out loud!

Elyse Myers

Elyse Myers

Elyse Myers is a mother of a toddler and is expecting her second child. She is so funny because everything she comments on is true. She comments on everything parents are already talking about on TikTok, but with a delivery that fans can’t get enough of. She discusses sensitive topics, such as the agony of getting weighed at the doctor’s office while pregnant and those uncomfortable moments with toddlers that are only funny to other parents. One of our favorites is Elyse’s genuinely brilliant maternity pants hack.

Claire Stevenson

What makes 25-year-old stay-at-home parent Claire Stevenson a must-watch? It’s as if she can read minds because she posts the exact thoughts most parents think. From crying because seeing a group of young girls living their best lives makes her miss pre-motherhood freedom, to telling her partner what she wants for Mother’s Day, she is a woman who has it all figured out. For the record, diamonds and designer bags are out of the question. For Mother’s Day, she requested a day off from caring for those who have come out of her.

Lucky Lottery Player Is the Sole Winner of a $1.3 Billion Jackpot

It can’t be denied that some people are born under a lucky star. Recently, a lottery winner did more than just hit the jackpot. They won the second-largest Mega Millions bonanza with a single ticket, meaning they scooped up the entire 1.3 billion dollar prize. That’s a billion with a B!

The jackpot-winning ticket was bought at a gas station in Des Plaines, Illinois, just about 20 miles northwest of Chicago. According to the Illinois Lottery, the prize, which was drawn on a July Friday night, is the third-largest of any U.S. lottery game.

The pot has been mounting since April when Mega Millions drew their previous winner. Although the lucky lottery winner hasn’t yet claimed their prize, they’ll have one of two options – a lump sum of cash or annual payments.

Should they choose the lump sum, they’ll receive a payout of approximately $742.2 million. On the other hand, if they pick spread-out, annual payments, they’ll be able to collect the entire jackpot over time.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers in the July 29 drawing – white balls 13, 36, 45, 47, and 67, and the gold Mega Ball 14. The prize is the second-largest in the 20-year history of the lottery. The record bonanza happened in 2018 when a South Carolina resident won $1.5 billion.

Their payout is expected to be at least $1 million per player. Of the 26 winners, 6 decided to use $1 and activate the game’s multiplier, which will bring them close to $2 million dollars.

According to Mega Millions, 20 of the 27 winning tickets were sold in California. It looks like July 29, 2022, was a happy day for many Americans and Californians.
