Some celebrities love to include their fans when celebrating a loved one. That’s what actress Katherine Heigl did on her daughter, Adalaide’s, tenth birthday. The Life As We Know It star shared a heartfelt montage on her Instagram profile, showing never-before-seen photos and videos of her little angel.

A Heartfelt Birthday Wish From Katherine Heigl

Heigl shared the sweet minute-long montage on her Instagram, and fans couldn’t contain their aw’s and heart-eyed emojis. The author of the montage is actually Katherine’s husband, singer Josh Kelley. The video shows their daughter, Adalaide, in sweet moments from her first days all the way to her having fun in the present day.

Heigl and Kelley adopted Adalaide back in 2012 from Louisiana. The Firefly Lane actress captioned the birthday video with a sweet message to her daughter. She said that Adelaide was the smallest baby she had ever seen and was even able to fit in the palm of her hand. She was so small that Heigl started calling her peanut. Her “beautiful, delicious, observant peanut.”

“My beautiful, fiery, witty girl”

Katherine Heigl continued the caption by sharing her boundless love for her daughter and how much she appreciates her fiery attitude and “beautiful soulful eyes.” Kelley was just as emotional as his wife in wishing their daughter a happy tenth birthday. The singer didn’t miss the chance to also compliment his wife for being a “truth-teller” and a really good poet for her ability to dress their emotions into words.

Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley are happy parents to two more kids — 13-year-old Naleigh Mi-Eun, whom the couple adopted from South Korea in 2009, and 5-year-old Joshua Bishop. Despite being a hectic family of five, both Heigl and Kelley are focused on raising their children despite their successful careers. Heigl has been outspoken about her struggles to be a good mom while also advancing in her acting career. Still, motherhood comes first to her.
